Picking a finish
- Gloss. The brightest and the easiest to wipe clean.
- Satin. A lower sheen that is more forgiving of the surface underneath.
- Matte. Flat, with no shine.
- Textured. A fine or coarse texture that hides weld marks and scuffs.
- Metallic. A colour with a metallic shine.
- Candy. A translucent colour with depth, for show pieces and wheels.
- Clear. A clear coat over the colour for extra depth and protection.
Powder types and custom colours
There are several types of powder available, including polyesters, urethanes and epoxies, plus powder primers, colours and anti-corrosion coatings.
We carry well over a hundred powders, and thousands more are available. If the colour you need is not on the shelf, we can arrange a custom powder. Call us and we can talk through what your job needs.
