How a set of wheels runs
Send a photo
Tell us the wheel size, the colour you want and whether tires are still mounted.
Blast
Aluminum wheels are blasted with garnet, in the room kept for non-ferrous metals.
Coat and cure
Powder applied by hand and baked at 200°C.
Pick up
Checked and ready.
What moves the price on wheels
- Size. A 22 inch truck wheel takes more than a 16 inch car wheel.
- What is on them now. Heavy corrosion and curb damage add prep time.
- Colour. Stock colours cost less than a special order.
- Tires. Wheels need to come in bare.

Wheel questions
How much does it cost to powder coat rims?
It depends on the wheel size, what is on them now and the colour. Send a photo and we will give you a quote.
Can you powder coat chrome wheels?
No. Chrome is the one surface we cannot powder coat.
Do I need to take the tires off first?
Yes. Wheels go into a 200°C oven, so tires, valve stems, weights and sensors all have to come off.
How long will my vehicle be without wheels?
It depends on the job. Call us and we'll give you a time for your set.
Can I get a candy colour?
Yes. We offer specialty candy colours as well as over 100 stock colours.
